Business Debate Challenge 01
Twelve teams, six cases argued at once, and a final in front of the whole room.
What happened
Fifty-eight owners, managers and professionals registered at the door, 18 of them Business 360 alumni and 40 new to BBD. They formed twelve teams of five and argued six business cases in six arenas at the same time, each with its own judge.
One arena ended in a genuine tie and was decided on the members' average score. The ten best speakers then formed two new teams for the final, on a case neither had seen. Final team B won, 9.33 to 7.33.

Ranking weighted 70 per cent on the individual, 30 per cent on the team, with judge calibration on.

Team 1 8, Team 2 7. Team 1 won.
Team 3 8, Team 4 9. Team 4 won.
Team 5 8, Team 6 8. Team 6 won (decided on the members' average).
Team 7 7, Team 8 8. Team 8 won.
Team 9 7, Team 10 6. Team 9 won.
Team 11 7, Team 12 8. Team 12 won.
