How we handle your information

Who we are

Business by Design is a business consulting and development firm at Al-Yarmouk Building, Al-Yarmouk, Baghdad. When this policy says "we", it means Business by Design.

What we collect

• What you send us. When you use the contact form: your name, company, phone or WhatsApp number, email, what your message is about, and the message itself. The same applies when you call, write on WhatsApp or email us.
• Visit statistics. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics: which pages are read, from which country and on what kind of device. It sets no cookies and does not identify you.

We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not buy or collect information about you from other sources.

Why we use it

• To reply to you and arrange what you asked for: an initiation session, a programme, a partnership conversation or an answer.
• To keep a record of our conversation, so the person who follows up knows what you already told us.
• To see which pages are useful and improve the site.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for their marketing.

Who else sees it

Our team, and only the people who handle what you asked about. The companies that run the site and our email see it only to provide their service: Cloudflare hosts the site and counts visits; [the provider that receives the contact form and our email provider, to confirm]. We disclose information to an authority only when Iraqi law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep a message for as long as we need it to answer you and follow up. If you become a client, it becomes part of your client record. [Retention period, to confirm.]

Cookies

The site sets no tracking cookies. It may remember your language choice in your own browser; nothing about it is sent to us. [To confirm once the language switch is built.]

Clients' information

What a client shares with us during an engagement is covered by the service agreement, not by this page. It is kept private and used only for that client's work.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us at the address below and we will do it, unless we must keep a record by law.

Changes

If we change this policy, we update it on this page and change the date at the top.
